So you may have guessed by now I don’t do fancy food. I do functional family food.
I haven’t got time to be chopping and dicing for hours and I know most of you haven’t got the time either. So I have been forced to learn how to cook tasty, speedy food! And this recipe fits the bill 100%
Serves 4
You will need:
- 24 ready made meatballs
- 4 tbsp tomato purée
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 chopped red pepper
- 2 tsp lazy garlic
- 1 tsp Italian herbs
- 1 cup white wine
- 1 beef stock cube
- 200 ml water
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp sugar
- 400g rigatoni
Let’s cook it!
- Bung everything in the slow cooker apart from the pasta and give it a good stir
- Turn the slow cooker to low and cooker for 6/7 hours
- When the meatballs are ready cook the pasta and serve
