New to this but going to start as one of my 2019 goals is to get more organised in the house 🙂

So mopping - I find it very faffy getting the bucket (doesn't live in the house as no room) filling it up and trying to lift it out of the sink (bad back so have to be careful) and then the actual mopping.

I wold love a steam cleaner but out floors are laminate so cant use one. Any ideas on best way to get effective mopping done?

Thanks

Hello!  A few years ago I bought the ecloth floor mop to use on my laminate floors.  I use it with the Method Almond floor cleaner.  I do not use a bucket: I just get the mop damp, spray the cleaner on the floor (you do not need a lot) and wipe it down; the floor does not get very wet at all and dries very quickly, and the smell is gorgeous!!  I hope this helps you.

Hello. I use the Vileda 1-2-Spray mop for what I call my 'lazy mopping' in between better cleaning days... Look it up if/when you have a minute:  It's a spray mop and the cleaning liquid is poured inside the handle. There's a detachable moping pad which can be cleaned (it came with 2 pads actually). Don't forget to damp the cloth pad before use. We have 2 dogs so this makes it really easy, convenient and quick to clean floors  😉
