Slow Cooker Burrito Bowels (v)
We tried this for the first time yesterday. Just shove it all in and left to cook for 5 hours on low. You can make it as spicy as you like (or not). Then we used wraps, creme fresh, avocado etc to make into burritos but you could forgo the wrap and just make a bowl.
I have done my menu plan, and 5 of the 7 days I am doing slow cooker meals. I am hoping it will free some more time for me. I work as a cook, so coming home to cook again is like a buss mans holiday!

Hi Plump Duck, it worked really well. maybe a few extra minutes in the morning to prep things up, but certainly saved me loads of time in the evening, which meant when i got in from work i just got on with my 30 mins! I did a nice beef bourguignon last night. I cheated and bought the frozen shallots from Tesco, even the frozen onions save you loads of time. I work as a cook, so sometimes the last thing i want to be doing when i get home is slaving over a hot stove again and a little cheating helps me have more time to do the things I WANT to do!
